PLANT SALE 16 th MAY

WEST HORSLEY VILLAGE HALL

DOORS OPEN AT 2PM

 

​I was sorry to have missed the seed sowing that took place on 10th April, but now those seeds will hopefully be thriving and ready for selling to the public as will other plants you may be willing to donate.

 

Please bring whatever you have for sale to the Hall between 10.00 and 11.30. There will be tables at the main door to receive the plants. Early receipt will then give your committee and helpers time to organise the tables and price the various items.If possible, please identify at least the type of the plants that you are bringing (variety, colour etc) so the buyers know what they are buying!

 

Payment for plants bought on the day will be by cash or debit card.I look forward to seeing you on the day.

 

VISIT TO SEALE ROSE NURSERY

We are planning a Society visit to Seale Rose Nursery between 2 and 4 pm on Friday 19th June.

They specialise in roses, especially those which are scented.

Large roses for instant impact are also a speciality.

 

This will be an opportunity to learn how roses are propagated and prepared for the market The cost will be £7 per head and includes tea, biscuits and cake.

 

Please note: The toilets at Seale Rose Nursery are up a steep grass slope and are not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

The maximum number of visitors at the Nursery is 20.
